Jeffery Dujon (1956-)
Dujon is described as the prototype for wicketkeeper/batsmen. In this photo, Dujon drives a ball from Trinidad and Tobago's pacer Richard Sieuchan to off, during his undefeated innings of 15 in Wednesday's Geddes Grant Shield one-day game at Sabina Park. Oneil “Collie” Gordon-Smith (1933- 1959)
The 'Mighty Mouse' of cricket, Smith, based on his figures, 1,331 runs with four centuries at an average of 31.69 in 26 matches as a batsman, 48 wickets at an average of 33.85 as an off-spin bowler, was an ordinary Test cricketer. Roy Gilchrist (1934 - 2001)
Gilchrist played 13 Tests for the West Indies in the 1950s. His Test career might have been longer had he not been sent home halfway through West Indies' 1958-59 tour of the Indian subcontinent after disagreements with captain Gerry Alexander.

Balfour Patterson (1961- )
Patterson arrived on the international scene in the 1986 Sabina Park Test against England, and was instantly heralded as the fastest bowler in the international game. Patterson's career strike rate of 51.9 is amongst the best of all time. He was dropped for disciplinary reasons after the 1992/3 tour to Australia. Click photo for full story. Jimmy Adams (1968- )
Adams made his debut for Jamaica in 1985. During his 18 year career, he played 55 matches for Jamaica scoring 3,830 runs with 11 centuries including a top score of 203 not out, at an average of 46.14. He played 54 Test matches for the West Indies, he scored 3,012 runs with six centuries, including a top score of 208 not out, at an average of 41.26. Click photo for full story.

Lawrence Rowe (1949-)

Chris Gayle (1979- )
Gayle set the record for the highest innings in a Twenty20 International, scoring 117 against South Africa in the first match of the 2007 World Twenty20. Tamar Lambert (1981- )
Captain Lambert led Jamaica’s senior men’s cricket team to win five consecutive outright West Indies Cricket Board Regional Four-Day Tournaments. The last one being in 2012 in Barbados.
