Jamaica Stock Exchange Best Practices Award for Best Performing Company
The Best Practices awards were established by the Jamaica Stock Exchange in 2004 with the aim of recognizing publicly listed companies who uphold best practices standards. Over the years Carreras has maintained a track record of strong performance in this competition.

For our leadership in this area, we received the Jamaica Employers’ Federation Top Small Employer of Choice Award for Jamaica for 2008. This prestigious award recognizes employers who score highest on a list of factors identified by employees in a survey conducted in 2008. Carreras was the recipient of the Jamaica Employers Federation Award on CSR for 2008 through it’s “Voluntary integration of social and environmental concerns in the business operations and it’s interaction with stakeholders” as described by the International Organisation of Employers (IOF), the international parent body of the JEF.
