Fort Augusta
The magaizine of the fort was struck by lightning in 1763, igniting 3000 barrels of gunpowder and killing 300 people. Today the fort serves as Jamaica's female prison.

Location: Portland (1728-29) This fort and it's 22 guns protected Port Antonio from the Spanish and French attacks by sea, as well as Maroon attacks from the Blue Mountains above.
