Tennis Jamaica, formerly the Jamaica Lawn Tennis Association (JLTA), is the governing body of tennis in Jamaica and is sanctioned by the International Tennis Federation (ITF).

Jamaican tennis is predominantly played at the high school and junior levels.  The efforts of Tennis Jamaica have brought tennis to over 70 schools across all 14 parishes.  The association is also in the process of establishing 4 Regional Tennis & Learning Centres.

Tennis Jamaica also plays a role in the organization of national tennis competitions at the prep, primary, secondary, and tertiary levels.  National championships are held in tandem with institutions like the Inter-Secondary school Sports Association (ISSA), and take place annually.

The association organizes two tennis scholarships to local universities:
  • The Gore Development Limited/Tennis Jamaica Scholarship to the University of the West Indies (UWI), which covers tuition and expenses for four years of a degree course.
  • The Cable & Wireless/Tennis Jamaica Scholarship to the University of Technology (UTECH), which covers tuition and expenses for four years of a degree course.

Additionally, Tennis Jamaica and Versan Educational Services offer programs to assist young Jamaican tennis players in applying to American boarding schools and universities.
